TraceCheck

Free Free to use — no account needed.

Enter a person and the professional role they claim (recruiter, hiring manager, investor). This runs a live public-footprint search and returns an advisory footprint-consistency score.

This score is an advisory signal only. A low score means little verifiable public footprint was found for the claimed identity — it is not a determination that anyone is untrustworthy or acting in bad faith.

Photo checks use a metered external service, so they need a free account — sign in free to run one (3 per account). The text footprint check below stays free and needs no sign-in.

Frequently asked questions

What does TraceCheck do?
TraceCheck is footprint-based OSINT fraud screening: it scores a subject from 0 to 100 with supporting evidence gathered from public search-footprint signals, so you can gauge whether a claimed professional identity has the public presence it should.
Do you store the photo or name I enter?
The optional photo is held in memory only for the few moments the reverse-image check needs it — never written to disk or a database here — and is automatically deleted within minutes. To run that check it is submitted to SerpAPI and Google Lens, which is why it needs a free account (3 photo checks per account); the text footprint check needs no sign-in. The name and claimed role you enter are recorded as part of the check record so the advisory result can be produced and returned to you, and the name is sent to the Serper search API to run the public-footprint search. They are not published, and the check record is deleted automatically once the result has been delivered.
How many checks are free?
Three checks per IP per 30 days, after which a paid tier applies.
What data sources does it use?
Public search-footprint signals via Serper — no private or paywalled data.
